Design & Features
Bold & Rugged Design
Protecting your valued bright headlights are all-steel full-sized front bumper wraps, also helping to add to the ATV’s dynamic appearance. The design of the Rubicon was created as such to make a bold-looking SUV, but one that also aids in protecting against the elements. If you need to service the ATV, its one-piece tank/side cover makes for simple removal and replacement, with no tools required.
Comfortable Seating
Drive all day and stay comfortable the entire time thanks to the Rubicon’s seats that showcase larger and thicker material than typical utility ATV models. It’s not only the padding that Honda engineers kept in mind, but its texture as well, which provides a secure ride for synthetic riding gear and helps to keep you cool on hot days.

The instrumentation panel on the Rubicon adds to its modern sensibilities while acting as your hub to keep up-to-date with the latest vehicle info. The display contains the following:

Engine Performance
Strong & Efficient Engine
The 518cc engine of the Honda Rubicon is smart, strong and efficient all in one. Its longtiudally mounted style means a direct driveshaft alignment for front and rear wheels to allow for the best in efficient drivetrain operation. Liquid cooling always keeps the engine at the right temperature, so it can perform to the level it needs to.
Dual Clutch Transmission
The Dual Clutch Transmission models of the Rubicon welcome an improved transmission experience over the manual. It’s all the small size of a manual with the ease of an automatic. With this system you’re able to utilize the Electric Shift Program, which shifts through the handlebar buttons. DCT ensures you’re equipped for any conditions.
Quiet & Powerful Operation
Attack the trails in quiet confidence due to a sub-chamber in the air cleaner, which cuts down on resonant noise, as well as a stainless-steel exhaust system that combines to deliver a quiet ride. A 595 watt alternator provides its own level of quiet power, with the ability to charge your favourite devices and power electrical equipment.
Three Drive Modes
The 2WD/4WD system provides three different drive modes (as well as a Speed Override mode) so you can conquer a wide variety of terrain.
- 2WD
- 4WD (with a torque-sensing front differential)
- 4WD (with a locked front differential)
Chassis & Suspension
Durable & Lightweight Frame
The double-cradle steel frame of the Rubicon is both durable and lightweight at the same time thanks to its development through Computer Aided Engineering technology. Handle the trails with ease, and drive with confidence knowing the strong materials that went into the construction of this 2022 Rubicon.
Suspension
The Double A-arm independent front suspension and the Independent Rear Suspension work together in concert to provide a ride that is receptive to sudden changes in terrain, providing both a comfortable and stable ride. Wrap-around guards help to shield the lower A-arms on the rear suspension when rocks underneath are threatening, while the adjustable spring preload on the shocks lets you tune the suspension to meet your needs.
Stopping Power
Stop on a dime with the dual front hydraulic brakes. The brake calipers even have a scraper system that’s built right in to remove debris from inside the front wheels to ensure no buildup occurs. The rear inboard disc brakes are found mounted on the rear driveshaft, helping to protect the disc from being affected by the elements when on tough trail conditions.
Power Steering
Honda is consistently looking for ways to improve the Electric Power Steering System, and this iteration features even better fine-detail steering control and a reduction in the amount of kickback, so you can drive in control in any environment.
