All of the lights on the 2022 Rebel 500 are now LED, highlighted by its signature round headlight. On the rear an oval tail light accentuates the low stance of the motorcycle. New are mini circular LED indicators, which easily allows other drivers and riders to clearly notice you.

The Honda Assist Slipper Clutch both stops the rear wheel from locking up on downshifts, and also cuts down on the clutch lever operations by 30%, for an even more seamless ride.

Chassis Design

Front & Rear Suspension
Both the front and rear suspension have been updated on 2022 Rebel 500. The damping has been improved for a better ride thanks to the refined fork spring rates and oil quantities. Twin shock absorbers at the rear have five-step preload adjustment, complete with being nitrogen charred, for better spring rates and damping.
Redesigned Seat
The seat of the Rebel 500 has been improved for even better comfort, whether it be a short trip or a long cruise. The low style of the motorcycle means you can confidently place your feet on the ground at stops. Your riding positions will always be comfortable and convenient, with neutral outstretched arm positioning that match to the mid-mount footpegs.
