The 2022 CBR650R has been further upgraded from previous generations, highlighted by its light features, and taking inspiration from the CBR1000RR. You’ll see dual LED headlights, LED turn signals and a tail light. Rider versatility and a centralizing of the mass on the bike are brought forth by a lowering of the handlebars and raising of the foot pegs.

Feel the power of the liquid-cooled 649 cc four-cylinder engine. Its combination of a compact internal structure and cylinders canted at a 30° angle create for a dynamic power-to-weight ratio and a lower centre of gravity. Further, even more sport power is created thanks to the pistons and valve timing boost being even greater.
Quick Response & Acceleration
The 2022 CBR650R gets into action quickly thanks to its PGM-FI fuel injection system, utilizing 4 different throttle body sensors for a seamless throttle response. Acceleration is boosted from numerous sources, including the bike’s lower weight, better airflow, engine enhancements and its 6-speed transmission
Honda Selectable Torque Control
Honda selectable torque control easily controls the torque on your bike by noticing differences in slip ratio from the front and rear wheels. If rear traction is felt to be lost, the HSTC system goes to work by supplying needed torque to that wheel, helping to prevent tire slippage.

Frame & Suspension
The CBR650R is made from a twin-spar steel frame, made to be both strong and lightweight, and centralizing the driver mass to provide a sporty ride. Upgraded suspension in the form of the Showa 41mm SFF-BP USD forks work to provide excellent damping performance and with a lighter weight, a common theme of this bike. Its single-tube monoshock is adjustable for seven-stage spring preload and goes to work on the gravity die-cast aluminum swingarm.
Wheels
The wheels of the CBR650R provide durability, low weight, bump absorption and agility for the driver, all upgraded over the last generation, and complete in a Y-shaped five-spoke design.
Brakes
The front brakes see radial-mounted four-piston calipers work with the 310 mm discs, whereas the rear brakes feature a 240 mm disc. ABS comes standard, providing confidence every time the brakes are needed.
