Further, the trunk size of the motorcycle has been increased from 49 L to 58 L to easily be able to store your gear, big enough to fit two full-sized helmets comfortably.

Engine Power
All of that power you’ll feel coursing through you and your motorcycle comes from the Gold Wing Tour DCT’s 1,833 cc horizontally opposed 6-cylinder engine (complete with a 4-valve Unicam cylinder head). This creates both a high level of power but also does so seamlessly to provide a smooth ride that responds in kind.
Transmission
Enjoy touring motorcycle riding on an entirely new level thanks to the Honda-signature 7-speed Automatic Dual Clutch Tecsnmisson. This system lets you feel the control of a manual transmission while having clutch and shifting be automated. Don’t worry about changing gear and let the system do it for you; all you have to do is take in the sights as you pass them by, a welcome feature for highway driving.
Selectable Ride Modes
We all have different riding styles, and different types of environments may demand their own unique style to match the elements. The Gold Wing Tour DCT has 4 selectable riding modes to meet your desired needs. These 4 modes are Sport, Tour, Econ and Rain, which all adjust to their own settings based on throttle response, suspension, torque and braking.
Suspension & Braking
Electronically Controlled Suspension
Building off of your four riding modes, your suspension damping will be adjusted to meet your needs and the demands of your current environment. All of these suspension settings have been upgraded for the model year, helping to improve balance, comfort and performance. Additionally, 4 preloaded suspension settings are available: rider, rider with loaded bags, ridge and passenger, and rider and passenger with loaded bags.
Front Suspension
The double-wishbone front suspension of the Gold Wing Tour DCT deserves singling out thanks to its unique design. This design adjusts the path that the wheel takes through the suspension stroke, putting the rider closer to the front wheel, providing for more room, better performance and an upgraded comfortable ride.
Hill Start Assist
It can often be a tough time getting your motorcycle going again when stopped on a hill, but no longer with the Hill Start Assist on your Gold Wing Tour DCT. This system works by holding your positions for 3 seconds once the brake is released, allowing you to throttle without experiencing any rollback. This is just another of the many Gold Wing features that invite a smooth ride.
